TDC provide services to children, adults and seniors:
- At Therapeutic Day Center, we provide therapeutic recreation, therapeutic enrichment, and therapeutic essentials.
Therapeutic Recreation Includes:
• Crafts
• Trivia
• Bingo
• Music Therapy
• Card games
• Group talks/ Current Events
• Lunch and a movie
• Mystery trips
• Poetry and Motion
- Monthly themed parties
Therapeutic Enrichment Includes:
• 1 on 1 Reading skills
• Memory Exercises
• Promote Self-esteem
• Mentorship and guidance, Sensory/Quiet room, Healthy lifestyle/fitness room
Therapeutic Essentials Includes:
• Simple Cooking skills and weekly Cook book recipes
• Financial Budgeting Skills
• Basic ADL’s (teaching basic grooming skills)
Therapeutic Nutrition:
We provide optional “breakfast for champions”. Our breakfast for champions are for our individuals who may not have time to eat in the morning but still need the daily required nourishments.
• Beverages
• Cereal
• Fruit
• Muffins
• Breakfast bars
• Etc.
*Clients bring their own lunch that can be stored in the refrigerator.
